Coombe Castle, Melksham

BUSINESS SECTOR: Wholesale dairy products
PROJECT DURATION: 2 weeks

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Coombe Castle are exporters of British and Irish dairy products around the world.

In their new premises in Wiltshire NBA constructed a coldroom (approx. 30m x 25m x 5m) complete with two high speed doors (3m x 2.5m) a manual sliding door (2m x 2.5m) and a slam face door (1.9m x 0.9m).

On successful delivery of this project we were asked to hygienically clad the production area (17m x 12m), including the changing rooms and toilet facilities, with insulated panelling and antibacterial hygienic PVC.

This included the installation of a number of personnel doors, roller shutter doors and manual sliding doors.

Ramsbury Brewery, Ramsbury

BUSINESS SECTOR: Brewing
PROJECT DURATION: 2 weeks

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Ramsbury Brewery are an independent award-winning brewer in rural Wiltshire.

When they expanded into a new facility they contracted NBA to design and build a chillroom and fermentation room (overall 23m x 17m with varying heights).

This project included two floating manual sliding doors, one white-faced manual sliding door (3.8m x 2.5m), one chequer-plated manual sliding door (2.1m x 2.2m) and one chequer-plated slam face door (1.9m x 0.9m).

La Chasse, Zeals

BUSINESS SECTOR: Restaurant supplier
PROJECT DURATION: 10 days

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Purveyors and suppliers of fine foods to the catering industry in the south-west, La Chasse recently moved location

In doing so they contracted NBA to move their existing combination room (freezer and chillroom sharing approx. 8m x 3m) and a couple of smaller chill rooms (approx. 2m x 2m) and reconstruct on the new site.

We also built a new combination room (approx. 10m x 8m) with three sliding doors and one slam face door.

Added to this we built a new office on a mezzanine floor and a small prep/cleanroom (approx. 5m x 4m).

We worked alongside other trades to ensure that our clients were installed in their new premises with minimal fuss and disruption to an entirely satisfactory end.

Crown Pet Foods, Castle Cary

BUSINESS SECTOR: Pet food manufacturer
PROJECT DURATION: 8 days

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Crown Pet Foods are part of the Mars group and in their state of the art facility in Castle Cary they wanted to hygienically clad their extruder room (approx. 13m x 6m).

It was originally a mix of cladding and painted block work.

After NBA had completed the project it was entirely clad and sealed (excluding the floor) with antibacterial hygienic PVC.

Real Dutch Flowers, Bristol

BUSINESS SECTOR: Wholesale flowers
PROJECT DURATION: 1 day

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: NBA had previously built a coldroom for cut flowers and were asked to construct a room to protect the cold-sensitive plants during the winter months.

This room (approx. 4.5m x 7.5m x 3m) features a sliding curtain to the front.

It took NBA just a day to construct and successfully hand over.
